Alexander Cruz

Xander is a Baltimore native, real estate investor, private lender, and entrepreneur. A graduate of Calvert Hall College High School and West Virginia University, he has spent more than 15 years building his career on the investment side of residential real estate.

He is Managing Partner of CR of Maryland (CR Homebuyers), a Baltimore-based home-buying company that has helped Maryland homeowners sell directly, on their timeline, for over a decade. He leads the company's operations, acquisitions strategy, and team, with a focus on a disciplined, honest process built by investors, for investors.

Xander is also a principal of Free State Capital, a private lending company that provides fast, reliable financing to real estate investors across Maryland, and co-owns a Baltimore City rental portfolio. Together, these businesses give him a rare view of the full investment cycle: acquisition, financing, renovation, and long-term ownership.

He holds his Maryland real estate license with Cummings & Co., where he brings an investor's perspective to clients buying, selling, or building a portfolio.

Xander is a member of EO (Entrepreneurs' Organization) Baltimore. Outside the office, he's a husband and father of two, an avid boater, and a lifelong student of leadership and self-improvement.
