Jill Lapides helps clients navigate the often daunting selling and buying process with compassion, integrity, efficiency, and a strong attention to detail. A licensed MD and DC realtor, she brings 35+ years of experience and an extensive knowledge of the area's market to the table.
After earning her master’s degree in Public Health from Yale University, she managed the site selection for new nursing care facilities up and down the East Coast. She was also an “affordable housing grant writing consultant” for the Enterprise Foundation.
Putting her clients’ best interests front and center, Jill goes above and beyond to ensure her clients understand every aspect of the process with a sense of ease, autonomy, and confidence. Passionate about helping and connecting with others, she serves a diverse client-base of all ages. She especially enjoys assisting senior citizens and their families face the practical but emotional decisions related to downsizing, estate sales, and residential care needs. Jill offers a wealth of age-specific expertise and knowledge and brings a heightened sensitivity, empathy, and the logistical know-how to make these sometimes difficult life transitions as painless as possible.
When Jill is not helping people sell or buy a home, she cherishes time spent with her husband, three adult children, and friends. She views volunteerism as a way of life. She frequently helps raise money for non-profit organizations and aids individuals who struggle with affordable housing needs or finding jobs. In her quiet moments, Jill enjoys gardening, reading, walking, sewing, traveling, listening to music and attending concerts and theater.
