Mark is a Baltimore County native and a graduate of Towson High School (Class of 2001). He continued his education at Towson University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Management in 2005.
Entrepreneurship has been a part of Mark’s life since his teenage years. At just 18 years old, while still in high school, he launched a landscaping company that quickly became successful. During his time at Towson University, Mark applied the business fundamentals he was learning in the classroom directly to his growing company. His strong work ethic and “can-do” attitude allowed him to achieve early success, even purchasing his first home at the age of 21 while still a junior in college.
Although Mark always knew he wanted to pursue a career in real estate, he remained committed to finishing his degree. In the fall of 2005, he sold his landscaping business to an independent buyer and joined Ryan Homes (NVR), a nationally recognized home builder. While working with Ryan Homes, Mark consistently achieved record sales and developed a reputation as a highly skilled real estate professional.
During Mark’s time within the home building industry, Mark also gained valuable experience in the field as a project manager, overseeing the construction process from permitting to breaking ground through final settlement and occupancy. This hands-on experience gave Mark a deep and well-rounded understanding of residential construction that continues to benefit his clients today.
In 2009, Mark returned to entrepreneurship by joining Cummings & Co. Realtors. With his background in new construction, land acquisition, and resale properties, he brings a unique level of expertise and value to every client relationship. Whether helping buyers purchase existing homes, guiding clients through land acquisition, or managing custom home builds, Mark provides knowledgeable guidance through every stage of the real estate process.
Licensed in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, Mark has built an outstanding reputation within the industry. Among more than 750 sales agents at his brokerage, he consistently ranks within the company’s top three producers. Over the course of his career, Mark has achieved more than $500 million in total sales volume and has helped countless numbers of clients successfully achieve the American dream by helping navigate their real estate transaction.
In addition to his work as a real estate professional, Mark is also an experienced real estate investor with a large portfolio of properties. He is actively involved in renovations, “fix-and-flip” projects, raw land development, and custom home construction. His extensive experience allows him to confidently handle projects of any size or complexity.
Mark has been recognized for his success and leadership in the industry, including being featured in the “40 in Their 40s” publication by Baltimore Real Producers Magazine. He is widely respected by peers, clients, and professionals across the real estate community within the tri state area that Mark serves.
Outside of work, Mark is a dedicated family man and loves coaching his son’s baseball team. His daughter Carolina, attends Garrison Forest School, and his son Nate attends Immaculate Conception School.
